Date: Monday, November 17, 2025. 1 PM - 4 PM
Tuesday, November 18, 2025. 9 AM - 12 PM
On the first day, we will be experimenting with an assortment of of papers and paints and textures to create magnificent prints. It is fun and exciting and everyone's will be unique. We will be able to make as many prints as time allows. These prints will dry and during our seconf session we will watercolor our 11 x 14 in flat board canvas and then experiment with ripping and tearing and cutting our prints to assemble them in a lovely floral design.
Materials:
- All materials will be provided by the instructor.
- Instructor will provide the canvas which can be framed or used with a plate holder. Papers will be provided along with acrylic paints, tea paper, ink, watercolor paints and glue.
- Students should bring an art shirt or apron to protect your clothing
- Students should bring 1-2 pairs of gloves because this is a very messy project.
- Students should bring paper towels.
- Students should bring any cool papers you have around the house, ie: newspapers, tissue papers,etc.
Objectives:
1.Students will learn new techniques of Gelli Printing and using mosiac applications leaving with a finished project.
