Mixed media is the perfect medium to create a new and different painting by adding, subtracting and rearranging ideas. I will provide boxes of mixed media scraps and papers.
Bring an old or new painting that you want to recreate with excitement!
Materials:
- Students should bring a watercolor or acrylic painting to recreate.
- Students should bring a variety of acrylic paints, brushes, mat medium, old magazines and scissors.
- Bring an art shirt or apron to protect your clothing.
- Bring paper towels, a table covering and area container.
Objectives:
- Learn how to recreate a painting by adding mixed media ideas.
