This course is designed for new artists to learn the basic techniques of wet felting using a resist to create an abstract felted flower arrangement. You will have access to all kinds of fun embellishments with a variety of Luster fibers.  There will be several photos of flower options to "paint with fiber".

Materials Provided by the Instructor:

• All materials will be provided by the instructor to wet felt your picture. This incudes the use of professional tools, Merino Wool, embellishments, etc.
• Students should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to get wet.
• Students should bring an old bath towel and a hand towel.
• Bring water or a refreshment to enjoy during class.

Objectives:

1. Students will learn the different types of wool and how to use them.  
2. You are able to experiment using silk, Bamboo and various other fibers.
3. Students will take home an 8x10 inch wool felted flower piece to frame.
