Dates: Thursday, February 5 and 12 9 AM - 12 PM
You will learn how to set up a still-life and paint glass vases with water and a flower in them. The instructor will provide the glass vases and flowers. You will choose the flowers and vase you wish to use.
Materials Provided by Instructor:
Fresh flowers, Glass Vases, Painting Canvases
All Art Materials will be Provided by Student

Acrylic or Oil Colors:
Paint: Black, white, red, yellow a blue pigments that work together OR Titanium Whitie - Blue (Phthylocyanine Blue or Phthalo Blue or Winsor Blue) Red - (Quinacridone Red or Naphthol Red or Pyrrol Red) Yellow - (Arylide Yellow or Hansa Yellow)
Painting Supports: Canvas board, stretched canvas you choice on size a 3x4 ratio: 6x8, 9x12, 18x24 etc.
Brushes: Variety of round, filbert and flat brushes which are small, medium or large.
Liquid Soap, soft paper towels, plastic sheet to cover table, palette such as a styrofoam plate, wide mouth container for water or mineral spirits
Watercolors or Gouache (colors same as above)
Ink and Watercolor:
Watercolors: A set of Watercolors
Paper: 140 lb.or heavier cold press watercolor paper
Thin line black waterproof pen, water container, HB pencil, vinyl eraser, Mr Clean eraser, round sponge, natural sponge, soft paper towels
Brushes: small round pointed watercolor brush (optional) medium round pointed watercolor brush, mop brush (optional)
Pastels:
Sticks: 12 or larger piece soft pastel set
Eraser: Kneaded eraser
Paper: 18 x 24 inch or larger acid free pastel paper or 300 - 600 grit sandpaper or fine or extra fine sandpaper
Soft paper towels
Colored Pencils:
Pencils: Set of colored pencils
Paper: Cardstock and/or mixed media paper-your choice of size
Blending tool or solvent
Derwent Burnisher Pencil or Stump OR Caran d'Ach Full
