General Member Information
Any member using the Art Club must protect the Club's furniture and equipment. Members are expected to clean up before leaving. All surfaces should be wiped clean after use and any paint or spills cleaned up, including chairs, tables and surrounding work spaces. Outside surfaces used for drying artwork must be covered as well.
Donations and Hazardous Materials
The Art Club no longer accepts donations. Locker storage of flammable products are not permitted. Designated disposal cans are provided in the yellow metal cabinet near the sinks in both studios. Hazardous materials on rags, paper towels, and any other supplies used are required to be disposed of in the red metal can at the back of both studios.
Photography
No videos or photographs of artwork is allowed. The Club President can authorize exceptions, generally for promotions. The Exhibit Committee and other approved Club designees may use photographs for inventory and display purposes.
Entry and Use of Studio
For safety purposes, a minimum of two members must be present to use the Studio. If no dedicated Monitor is present, then one of the members within the Club shall assume the Emergency Monitor duties. When there are two or more members using the Club, the sign will be turned to OPEN and the studio available to the General Public. All member may enter the studio between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., seven days a week. When members are using the Club or a Monitor is on duty, the hours for the public are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday and Sundays during peak holiday times.
