Come join us to relax and enjoy learning a lot about painting in Water Mixable Oils. We will be using only 3 colors (red, blue and yellow) plus a white. You will learn drawing, composition techniques, mixing colors (it’s really fun) and take home your own completed painting.This is a smaller class offering students more individual attention from the instructor.

Materials:

• The Instructor will provide most of the supplies  including a 12x12 inch canvas.
• If you prefer to bring your own oil brushes, water mixable oils, etc, please feel free to bring them along if you’d like, and the instructor will help you use what you have or supply it for you.  
• We will be using just 3 colors plus a white: French Ultramarine (blue), Alizarin Crimson (Red), Cadmium Yellow (Yellow) and Titanium White.
• Bring a small spray bottle.
• Bring an apron or old/art shirt to protect your clothing.
• Bring a small container for water.
• Bring paper towels.
• Bring something to drink or snacks.
• Bring something to carry your wet oil painting home in.

Objectives:

1. Students will leave with a finished painting.
